We’d worked with a number of accountants before, but unlike de Jong Phillips they were unable to match our scaling ambition or business needs.

We’re a technical production agency working across a large range of live, hybrid and virtual events, and in 16 months we’ve grown from one team member to 17 working in England, Canada and Brazil. We used to pay people every day of the week which was really inefficient, now we have Telleroo and have proper pay runs. 

I worry so much less about our finances because I know it’s being taken care of.

If I have any questions, no matter how complicated, I can just ask. I’ve messaged the team at weird hours with weird questions like ‘how can I account for crypto?’ or ‘How can I pay Serbians?’, and they’re always super responsive, super helpful and have risen to the challenge.

Having someone to turn to for sound financial advice has been a game-changer.

We now have forecasting and understand our cash flow which means we can look six months ahead and know we’re in a good position. Before I didn’t look at anything and I had no idea what was going on. We never had the time, the team or the support we needed. Now I know I have a number of people I can turn to which gives me such peace of mind.

It’s so important to get a good accountant, especially when you’re just starting out because as I’ve learnt the hard way, it makes things so much easier in the long run.
