Responsibilities

As an Accounting Technician, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with the team to gather and manage data for accuracy and reliability.
  • Use cutting-edge tech to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Present data in a clear and meaningful way, enabling clients to make informed decisions.
  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality and integrity.

Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong bookkeeping skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Be proficient in data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Have excellent problem-solving abilities to address complex data challenges.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have effective planning and organisational skills
  • Good time management
  • Be familiar with Xero and Dext
  • Ideally having Prior experience in accounting practice is a plus.

The successful candidate will be a friendly and enthusiastic team member with previous experience working in practice, who is comfortable working with the latest digital technologies and speaking with clients.
