This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting Xero Award-nominated digital accounting practice that specialises in working with agency clients.

The role is incredibly varied, and the successful applicant will be supporting our clients to grow their business profitably and sustainably. The role involves working closely with the rest of the team and with clients and includes managing and developing more junior team members.

For the right candidate, there is scope for the role to be either full-time or part-time (between 3 and 5 days a week) and has the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely. The role has an initial 3 month probation period.

Experience required

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience managing a portfolio of clients. They will a relationship management focus, and have a passion for implementing and using tech to make our clients businesses run better. They will have an understanding of the issues faced by growing businesses and be familiar with budgeting, forecasting and preparing valuations as well as confident in running client strategy meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key client relationships
  • Effective control of compliance work completed by the team
  • Acting as FD for portfolio of clients
  • Dealing with technical and complex client matters
  • Manage workflows and budgets
  • Generate leads and bring on new clients
  • Train and develop direct reports
  • Collaborate and support the wider team
